I have VERY dark brown hair. It is getting gray and I color it. However, the color doesn't last long and is usually too dark. What hair color do you think is best for lasting color and one that won't make me look like a witch?

I use Revlon but i have hear that loreal is a really great brand to, they do not turn your hair orange and they are great. you should get your hair cut after dying it to get all of the dry end cut off to keep your hair beautiful!

there are usually special kinds of dye just for grays. in fact, most store brand dyes say on the box "not for gray hair".

my advice to you is to go to a korean hair salon. they have something called a coating treatment. it's a color treatment that actually enriches your hair, so instead of stripping it of it's natural vibrance, it enhances it. your hair will feel silky and smooth. and if you take good care of your hair afterwards, the color should stay strong at least a couple of months. i recommend it to anyone who has damaged, grayed, or lifeless hair.

there's a catch: it's pretty expensive. $100-$200. but it's color AND treatment. you get what you pay for.
