It depends on what shade you are. But here is a general rule: NEVER dye your hair LIGHTER than your skin tone. Especially if you are darker than say a caramel color. It's EXTREMELY unflattering and makes you look very heavy set.

I have light skin but bronze so that i don't look like a pathetic albino....i love seeing darker skin with a hint of bronzy red in it, maybe more high lights than the entire head...find it very complimentry...i have qualification other than i think it looks great....warm tones..or a darkish blond foil...also jsut as a shout out, the cosmetic only contact lenses in a light green or light blue with darkish skin looks drop dead beautiful....just my opinion...also, you can get some fake pony tail things right at the drug store and on a bad hair day,,,,,,they really help and prep time is about 20 seconds.......hope you like my ideas...i really love it when things contrast...i am blonde and white and got some brown conatacts on line....(not available in usa...have to get on line)...anyway...look better than my boring old grey eyes...not for every day...but for special days!!!!

colour of chocolate! thats a bit lighter than a naturel dark brown hair. its a sweet brown. dark enough to look naturel with your skin and light enough to make your face look brighter. i think its like beyonces hair color in "irreplaceble".
