Kool-aid hair coloring question. please help!?

i want to put a blonde streak in my hair for halloween, and i have dark brown hair. I only want the color to lasts for a couple days, or better, just one day. I dont want to ruin my hair and i was wondering if i could do it with kool-aid. like ive heard people say they've done. i want just one streak of plantinum blonde, but i dont know how to do it, or what flavors to use of kool-aid. or any other ways i can color my hair. please help

color cannot "lift" color. so basically...even hair dye cannot make your hair lighter. you have to physically lighten it with bleach (not household bleach!!!) koolaid can add a tone to your color and it will come off. if you really want the blond streak just go find a blond hair extension and clip it in. koolaid will never lighten your hair to make it blond...NEVER.

ps. koolaid is NOT a hair dye. this is the white-trash way to dye your hair and i promise you, you will not like it. go get hair dye if you want to do this.

pps. blond hair dye won't lighten your hair either. you have to put hair bleach in it.

i'm not sure u can do blonde with koolaid. i'm pretty sure u use whatever color koolaid u want ur hair to be ...problem is though...if ur hair is dark it probably won't work... i have like a lightish brunette color ...and i tried doing purple...didn't work.

I wouldn't color your hair with Kool-aid. I have blonde hair and I put red Kool-aid streaks in it and they didn't just wash out, in fact it was in my hair for weeks. try that spray can stuff that you can get at Wal-mart in the Halloween section

bleaching your hair will make anything you put on it stain. dont do it.

you can't do it with kool-aid! it will only do fake color on blonde hair. My suggestion, go to a beauty supply store and buy a small extention and clip it in for the night. No chemicals, no disappointment nothing permanent.

It wont work because your hair is too dark. Unless, you bleach it and thats permanent, which is not what you want and will also severly damage your hair. Just suck it up for a day and halloween is over and you'll be thankful that you didnt over-process your hair!

dont use kool-aid or bleach or anything like that because you'll have to dye it back to the original color.

just get one of those temporary hairspray things that color your hair but come out when you wash your hair.

i usually get them at wal-mart.
